Few years back In Singapore a website for Paavanar was launched and from www.devaneyam.net all books of Paavanar could be accessed. It was in 2008. But alas, after the chief promoter of that website Mr.Kovalangkannan the site went off.

The follower of Paavanar, Kavi.Vinayagam who worked hard for creating this website is having all the backup files of that website.

Ravi Varao, an etymologist who has mastered .the techniques needed for etymological studies and whose free e-books in net and blogs had drawn more than 5 lakh visitors so far, had sent me, the pdf format of Paavanar’s books by his followers, which is in the book itself. I have made a CD containing books collected so far. Central Institute of Classical Tamil can bring out e-book in CD format. Complete works of Devaneyap Paavanar had to be digitized. I am engaged in that quest.

The utmost importance is Creation of Digital Library and Online Archives in Central Institute of Classical Tamil. The Etymological Dictionary Project of Government of Tamilnadu, which was supported by all Chief Minister’s who ruled and rule Tamilnadu had to be digitized and put up in the proposed Digital Library of Central Institute of Classical Tamil.

Currently I am taking my personal initiative to digitize these etymological dictionaries.
